Yacht crew careers in Antibes.

Port Vauban berths more megayachts than any harbour in Europe — and we know exactly when dockwalking pays off.

Plan your Antibes season

If you're serious about breaking into yachting, Antibes is where the Mediterranean season begins. The crew houses on La Galice, the agents on Boulevard d'Aguillon, and the captains stopping for an espresso at Geoffrey's — this is the village we operate from.

Season

May through October. Arrive late March if you want to dockwalk before the May charter rush; arrive in September if you're chasing Caribbean transit positions.

Why crew base themselves in Antibes.

  • Highest density of tier-one crew agencies in Europe
  • Walkable proximity from crew houses to Port Vauban gates
  • Direct access to Bluewater, Hill Robinson, Wilsonhalligan and YPI Crew
  • Schengen-friendly entry point with predictable dockwalking culture
  • Year-round refit work at IYCA next door for shoulder-season income
  • Real social network of crew already on rotation

Questions about Antibes.

When is the best time to arrive in Antibes?

Late March to mid-April gives you the longest dockwalking runway before the Monaco Grand Prix and Cannes Film Festival lock down the bigger boats.

Do I need French to find work?

No. Yachting is conducted in English. French is a long-term advantage but not a barrier for entry-level deck or interior roles.

Where should I stay when I first arrive?

We have a vetted crew-house list — most clients spend €25–€40/night while looking. Skip the Airbnbs in Old Town; they're double the price and further from the docks.
