Experience: Entry level — no sea time required.
Key tickets: STCW Basic Safety Training, ENG1 Medical, Powerboat Level 2
- 2Lead Deckhand
Experience: 1–2 seasons on deck.
Key tickets: PWC / Jet Ski, RYA Tender Operator, VHF SRC Radio
- 3Bosun
Experience: 3+ seasons, strong tender & deck management.
Key tickets: RYA Yachtmaster Offshore prep, PDSD, Powerboat Advanced
- 4Third Officer
Experience: 36 months sea service.
Key tickets: OOW (Yachts <3000gt) modules, Yachtmaster Offshore, NWKO
- 5Second Officer
Experience: OOW certified with watchkeeping time.
Key tickets: ECDIS, GMDSS, Advanced Sea Survival, Efficient Deck Hand
- 6Mate / Chief Officer
Experience: Senior watchkeeping experience.
Key tickets: Chief Mate <3000gt, HELM Operational, Medical Care
- Captain
Experience: Proven command experience.
Key tickets: Master <3000gt or <500gt, HELM Management, ISM/ISPS
